About Julie
My Story
I am a student at Boston University majoring in psychology and minoring in Deaf studies. I am a dedicated sister to my two siblings and two puppies. I love to act, dance, and sing. I am in the Jewish acappella group at BU. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Type III Hypermobility. I am writing this blog in the hopes of spreading awareness for Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and associated co-morbidities. Often people are fooled by my fairly 'normal' appearance, but what's happening inside me tells a very different story. Here I will share some of my day-to-day struggles and how I live life despite a host of limitations. We are all faced with different challenges; however, it is my belief that we can lift each other up and find support in one another. I hope my blog posts help you find some positivity even in dark times and the inspiration you need to never give up. You are not alone. You have the strength to overcome the obstacles placed in front of you.
